welcome  to

havurat  shalom

Due to the pandemic, the Havurah is offering a mix of on-line and in-person events. In-person events are in the backyard whenever possible. Please see the calendar, our Facebook page or our MeetUp group for details.

Please email info@thehav.org to get the Zoom link if you'd like to attend a Havurah Zoom event.
Shabbat Zooms start before Shabbat comes in on Friday, so that you can set up your computer to attend before it's Shabbat.

Havurat Shalom is a small, pioneering, egalitarian Jewish community founded in 1968. We are a lay-led congregation where people come to pray, celebrate, and grapple with Jewish texts and traditions and work for social justice.
We welcome people of all colors, ethnic backgrounds, genders and sexualities. Our community invites everyone, including singles and families of all configurations, including interfaith families, and people who are exploring Judaism. (We count all those who identify as Jews for a minyan.) Our building has a wheelchair ramp and we strive to be accessible to people with disabilities.
